a disaster, it's sort of like a slice-and- dice - what's it worth with their installed base, angie? > > matt, you're a big money manager, so you too have to do some window dressing. what stocks are you buying or maybe even selling? > > you know, the last few days we had a little bit of a soft market. the market had fallen, what angie?, like six out of seven days. finally it snapped back yesterday. i'm looking at a couple names i really like. one thing i talked about on the show was national oilwell varco, which, two days ago, fell below $80, which was sort of a spot where i wanted to buy it. now, of course, i have been looking at these all-american names. one stock that had earnings last night was nike. biggest apparel manufacturer in sporting goods and shoes, of course. their earnings were pretty good. some of the margins weren't so good, so the stock was down a little soft after hours, but of course, an all- american, iconic brand name, and i think that's really where the action is. we have rim up big this morning - $8 stock now, but these $90 stocks, $150 stocks, $80 for national oil well

. good morning, everyone. welcome to "news4 today." i'm angie goff. >> i'm jordan. >> we're talking about flooding. just at every time we get a downpour news4's megan mcgrath is live in the bloomingdale section of d.c. where it has happened again. >> reporter: actually, right now things are looking pretty good. this is rhode island avenue behind me here at first street. you can see that everything is dry right now. but this has become a real trouble spot. folks in this area has seen flooding four times in the last several weeks including yesterday. take a look at this video. this was shot during the height of the flooding after they saw the torrential downpour 'they actually had to rescue one man who got swept up in the flood waters. they used an inflatable boat to get to him. there were a number of cars that stalled out and got stuck in the flood waters. as i said, this isn't the first time it's happened. they've had four different instances in the last just several weeks where they've had flooding this this area. there are folks who lived here who had their basements flooded. they had t

a deadly shooting in an election rally in montreal. angie goff is following the story from the newsroom. angie, good morning. >> eun, he opened fire in a room filled with hundreds wearing a mask and dressed in a bathrobe. right now one person is dead and a these are in the hospital. the new premier pauline marois was giving a victory speech when shots were fired. she was whisked away and not hurt. one person died and another was wounded after a gunman started shooting from the back of the auditorium. police captured the man. they say he's 50 years old but would not comment on the weapon. cameras at the event show a pistol and a rifle at the scene. now, still unclear why he did it. police don't know if marios was the direct target but becodo know the attack happened right after marios started speaking in english which is rare in an event like this. they want independence from canada and as the suspect was being driven away by police he shouted in french, the english are waking up. tensions between the french and english in quebec has proved violent before. reporting live in the newsroom,
